Our club was chartered in 1965, basically when Century City was first built. The Century City club was sponsored by the Westwood Village club, and many of our original members came from the Westwood group.

The history of our club's membership is a tale that gets better with age. People often ask how big our club was at its "peak membership". Over the years, that number changes...like the size of any great fisherman's catch...and has been reported to be as high as 90 members. We're not sure how big we were over the years...but we are certain that the quality of the club members, the level of club activities, and the spirit of this fine club has never been higher than it is today. Besides, "it is not the size of the dog in the fight...but the size of the fight in the dog that matters!"

We are currently embarking on a project to archive as much of the club's past history as possible...and plan to add to this portion of the site as more of the story becomes known. And we hope that this site will serve to document much of the history moving forward.
